Summit Entertainment has just added a new cast to join the third installment of the Twilight Saga. Since filming of “Eclipse” is scheduled to begin sometime in August, the execs are on their way to hire new people for their high-selling film and luckily for the Australian actor Xavier Samuel, he got the part of Riley.

If you’ve read the Twilight Saga books, Riley was introduced as a human college student, who fell under the spell of Victoria. As a newborn vampire, he then joins Victoria’s goal of seeking vengeance against Bella.

When Xavier Samuel won the role, he beat out other actors, such as Channing Tatum and Tom “Draco Malfoy” Felton.

Eclipse already has a release date in place - June 30, 2010. New Moon, the second installment, will be in theaters in November 20.
