Portland, Oregon- who says vampires and werewolves can’t play under the sun? The “Twilight” vamps and wolves just did last Saturday!
Original “Twilight” cast members such as Michael Welch, Peter Facinelli, Edi Gathegi and Rachelle Lefevre played a good baseball game with “New Moon” newbies Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon.
But why baseball?
The game is based on “vampire baseball,” Stephenie Meyer’s twist on the all-American sport which can be found in the “Twilight” saga.
Rachelle Lefevre, the lovely Canadian vamp who plays the role of Victoria, was the one who threw the first pitch for the special sports event-which ended in welcoming the 4th of July fireworks display.
The cast and crew of both films, “Twilight” and “New Moon” played for the benefit of Oregon’s Make-A-Wish Foundation.
