New York, New York-Joe Jonas recently made headlines by dancing to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies,” but it was older brother Kevin who took the diva’s advice in the said song.

Kevin, the oldest among the trio, asked his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, to marry him.

According to People magazine, the 21-year old JoBro surprised his girl at her New Jersey home by presenting a cushion-cute diamond ring, which he himself helped design.

“She said yes, yes, yes, like 500 times super fast in a row,” Kevin recalls.

The lovebirds first met in May 2007, while their families were taking a holiday in the Bahamas.

Danielle, 22, still cannot believe she’s engaged.

“It still feels like a dream,” she says.

Kevin’s parents meanwhile are proud and excited in the upcoming wedding.

“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage, ” Denise and Kevin Jonas, Sr. announced in a statement found on their sons’ Facebook page. “Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”
