Los Angeles, Calif.-Construction workers and heavy equipment vehicles have now flocked at the Neverland Ranch, working on some major changes in the abandoned theme park. Does this mean that Michael Jackson will be laid to rest there?
The Jackson family has not yet provided final decisions on the King of Pop’s funeral or any memorial service to be held at the county or at the said ranch, according to the Santa Barbara County officials.
Yet Neverland is currently bustling with a tractor, cement mixer and backhoe, operated by construction workers along with a group of florists and gardeners bringing in fresh flowers and huge wreaths.
The Jackson family has met with the Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol about the late icon’s funeral services, but the “details are still pending.”
It is still unclear whether the King of Pop can be buried legally at the ranch. According to the California’s health and safety cod, interring uncremated remains outside a cemetery is a misdemeanor, while cremated remains can be kept at home or a private mausoleum outside the cemetery.
