Tampa, Fla.-TV pitchman Billy Mays, who was known for his loud and distinct sales pitches of maintenance products such as OxiClean and Orange Glo, has died at the age of 50.

Mays was found dead in his home by his wife on Sunday morning. There were no signs of foul play, and the authorities are expecting to have the autopsy done by Monday afternoon.

Deborah Mays, Billy’s wife, asks for privacy and is not expected to make any public statements in behalf of her family.

Mays was once featured on Discovery Channel’s reality show, “Pitchmen,” in which the cameras followed him and Anthony Sullivan in their various marketing gigs.
