Los Angeles, Calif.-Michael Jackson may have suffered from a heart attack, and not cardiac arrest, says a person with adequate knowledge about the situation which has caused the icon’s death.
The source, who requested for anonymity, said that the King of Pop apparently suffered a heart attack. In the initial report submitted to the police, Michael died of cardiac arrest, based on the statement of his brother Jermaine.
The Los Angeles Police plan to interview the Michael’s physician who tried to revive him at the time of incident. They already towed the doctor’s car from Jackson’s rented residence to see if it had relevant evidence that could help solve the pop icon’s cause of death. They also stressed that the doctor, identified as cardiologist Conrad Murray, was not a criminal suspect.
According to the initial report of the Los Angeles County coroner, there were no indications of foul play in Jackson’s death. It will still take six weeks however, before the complete autopsy findings regarding his death to be released.
