Los Angeles, Calif.-Singer Natalie Cole is excited about her upcoming concert which serves as her comeback after a successful kidney transplant.

The Grammy-winning singer and daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 9.

Cole, 59, underwent surgery in Los Angeles less than a month ago. She was first scheduled to for a concert tour on June 5, however, those dates were canceled due to her health.

The singer is constantly thanking her fans for their undying support, especially when her sister Carole passed away on May 19, the day Natalie had her surgery.

Cole admits she’s still in the middle of sorrow, but still she is able to celebrate her “new lease on life.”
