Los Angeles, Calif.-the cause David Carradine’s death is still under investigation, says a rep for the Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel in Bangkok, the place where the actor was found dead.

Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot his latest movie, “Stretch,” at the time of the incident. The “Kill Bill” star apparently died of auto-erotic asphyxiation. According to police chief Lt. Gen. Vorapong Chiewpreecha, it is still not sure if Carradine committed suicide, but it is possible that he died while matrubating.

Meanwhile, Carradine’s manager, Chuck Binder, doesn’t believe that he committed suicide.

“My gut is that he did not commit suicide,” he said. “I really feel like they are trying to hide something over there.”

Binder noted though that he only obtained second-hand information from the reports coming from the hotel.

“The information about his hands being tied-I was told that by a producer in Thailand who said that was what he was told by someone in the hotel. I don’t know if that’s true,” he continued.

Carradine was supposed to proceed to his next project, “Portland,” after filming “Stretch.”
