Los Angeles, Calif.- A lot may be wondering who is “The Fallen” in the Transformers sequel, “Revenge of The Fallen”; Shia LaBeouf was kind enough to give fans an idea of who, or what it means.

“The Fallen” is the shape-shifting robot that plays the main villain in “Transformers 2.” According to LaBeouf, the robot got its name from “the main dude.”

“He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. ” He explains. “He’s the first version of this sentient being.”

“He’s the main villain. He’s a bada**. He has to be,” Shia adds. He also noted that The Fallen has a deep relation with the first movie’s main Decepticon-Megatron. “They are like the Emperor and Darth Vader.”

“I think this is a darker one. There’s more at stake,” Shia says about the movie itself. “You’ve got more humans injured, and there’s more death.”

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opens on June 24.
