Los Angeles, Calif.- Chris Brown and Rihanna will be seeing each other again on June 22-in court.

Rihanna is bound to appear at former beau’s preliminary hearing on June 22, according to her lawyer, as the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is required to send a subpoena to the singer in reference to Brown’s felony charges.

Brown’s legal counsel was also denied by LA Superior Court Judge Patricia Shnegg of their petition to gain access to LAPD records containing a photo of a bruised Rihanna which was reportedly taken right after she was assaulted by Brown. Judge Shnegg also ruled that the photo does not invalidate the accusation against the Rihanna’s ex.

Back in April, Chris Brown pled not guilty to the assault charges and criminal threat against him.

The controversial assault, which took place on February 8, took Rihanna to the hospital after suffering from cuts and bruises. And after almost two months of silence, she is now back in the limelight and is being linked to personalities such as singer Drake and Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brown meanwhile released a YouTube video announcing the launch of his upcoming album entitled “Graffiti.”
