New York City- Kevin Bacon was caught in a real life action chase when his BlackBerry was napped by a snatcher in a New York City subway station.
Bacon’s BlackBerry phone was allegedly swiped at the B, D and E station at 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan at around 10:50 AM Thursday.
But if Bacon didn’t give up on his phone easily-he even chased the alleged thief until it disappeared amidst the crowd in the station.
According to the NYC Transit officials, no subway personnel were told about the said incident, but Bacon did call the police. However, the NYPD could not confirm whether Bacon filed a case report as of today.
Bacon could not be reached yet, as he is traveling with his band, Bacon Brothers.
This is not the fist time that Bacon was robbed. He and his wife Kyra Sedgwick are among the several victims of the Ponzi scheme, whose founder Bernie Madoff plead guilty to running a $65 billion fraud just last March.
