London, United Kingdom- Susan Boyle, the unassuming 47-year old spinster who wowed Britain (and the rest of the world) with her soothing, angelic voice, was given the go signal to enter the next round of ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’
Boyle, famous for her astonishing performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from ‘Les Miserables’ not only left the crowd dropping their jaws but also the judges shocked. Videos of her singing on “Britain’s Got Talent” are scattered all over YouTube, and has been viewed over 60 million times. She even became a favorite of the likes of Oprah Winfrew and Demi Moore.
On Saturday, the judges of the reality talent competition, headed by Simon Cowell, announced that Boyle is one of the 40 contestants which they chose to proceed to the contest’s next round.
