Los Angeles, Calif.- Fans of the “Twilight Saga” are sure more excited than ever, for the official poster of the highly anticipated sequel “New Moon” has been released.

The poster features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the woods, but in between them is Taylor Lautner, the ravishing young werewolf who’s going to do everything he can to keep them apart.

“Twilight” fans will also get their first dose of “New Moon” on May 31 at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

Back in April, “New Moon” cast Alex Meraz, who plays a werewolf named Paul, assured audiences that they will not be disappointed when they see how “Twilight’s” werewolves come to life.

In other “Twilight” news, Robert Pattinson, more popularly known as Edward Cullen, was present at the Cannes Film Festival in a sleek ebony polo, black trousers and his signature hairdo. His next stop will be Italy to continue filming “New Moon.”
