
West Hollywood, Calif.- Mark Landon, actor and eldest son of the late Michael Landon was found dead on the spot in his Los Angeles home on Monday. He was 60 years old.
The exact cause of his death remains unknown, but according to reports at the Los Angeles County sheriff’s office, there was not trace of foul play.
Mark Landon was the eldest of Michael Landon’s nine children. He took part in three films, including the TV movie “Us,” which was written and directed by his father a few months before he died of cancer in 1991.
Michael Landon, who became widely known in shows such as “Bonanza,” “Highway to Heaven,” and “Little House on the Prairie,” adopted Mark when he married his mother, Dodie Levy-Fraser, back in 1956.
