Time just flies real quick, doesn’t it? Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, who made news when they got hitched last year, is not celebrating their one year as a married couple. The two celebrated their first year anniversary Thursday at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Unlike their top-secret wedding last year, the couple decided to celebrate with a club full of people. But Cannon and Carey love their private moments, so the two dined in a private room at the Simon before the party.
Upon entering the club, Carey was welcomed with a four-foot cake and a lot of people. Cannon told the crowd, “It’s a very special occasion. Toast to everyone!” To Carey’s surprise, Cannon played a video – which he took from various moments of their first year together – that made Carey cry.

Cannon, who seemed in-love with his wife still said, “This is the most amazing person in the world. I dedicate my life to her daily, and together this union is gonna last forever. She is my rock.” Carey responded, “I have the best man in the whole wide world.”

At one point Cannon even took over the DJ booth and sang a song to his adoring wife who cried tears of joy. Pretty cheesy, but works well for a first anniversary.
