Audrina Patridge poses for PETA as an angel rescuing a dog. Yesterday, the MTV reality TV star unveiled her new billboard on Beverly Boulevard. On the ad, Audrina wears a sexy angel outfit hugging a rescued dog named Speedy Gonzales. The caption? “Be an Angel for Animals-Always Adopt, Never Buy.”
Patridge supports PETA and has said in a statement released by the animal rights organization, “Each year, 6 to 8 million unwanted dogs and cats are turned in to shelters, and half are killed because there aren’t enough good homes. The solution is as easy as ABC – animal birth control. Always spay and neuter, and never buy from a pet store or a breeder.”
On teaming up with PETA Audrina said, “I wanted to get involved with PETA because I’ve always been passionate about animals, and I think this is a great way to make people and all my fans aware of all the animals that need a home. And a lot of people go to pet stores and breeders to buy their animals, but you should adopt, so go to an animal shelter and rescue a dog.”
