Miley Cyrus’ dad, singer Billy Ray Cyrus, rebuts on the foul comments made by actor Jamie Foxx about his daughter during the weekend.
“It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it,” Billy Ray said on the Bonnie Hunt Show that aired earlier today.
“And quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter, he might not find it so comedic,” the singer adds.
Jamie Foxx’s comments about Miley caused a stir during the weekend, with statements suggesting that the tween queen should “make a sex tape and grow up,” which were heard on his Sirius satellite radio show. Foxx was also heard saying: “Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She need to get a gum transplant!”
Foxx apologized to Miley on Tuesday, when he appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
“I so apologize to (Miley), and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, we go a little bit too far.” Foxx said.
