Courtney Love is not new to legal woes, and now she’s being sued for libel by a fashion designer because of some messages the rocker posted online.
Dawn Simorangkir claimed that Love made several “menacing and disturbing statements” towards her. Simorangkir has filed legal action in LA Superior Court Thursday and said Love’s statements were posted at Courtney’s MySpace website and Twitter page.
The legal action is accusing Love of libel, intentional interference with her business, invasion of privacy, breach of contract and infliction of emotional distress. Simorangkir, who owns ‘Boudoir Queen’ clothing store, is seeking damages, with the amount to be set at trial.
