Miley Cyrus has her share of controversial photos, so it wouldn’t be wise for anyone to follow in her footsteps. However, Joe of the Jonas brothers has committed the same mistake Miley Cyrus is being sued for $4 billion dollars – he posed with his eyes pulled back to his eyelids.
Although the photo of Joe Jonas looked a few years old and he isn’t joking around with one of his Asian friends, it looks exactly like Miley’s pose. Joe even wears his purity ring just like the two other Jonas Brothers do.
The origin of the photo is unknown, and the person in the photo has not been positively identified as Joe Jonas, but a rep for the band did not comment.
Last month, Disney star Miley Cyrus caused controversy when a photo of her pulling her eyelids back with her fingers surfaced on the Internet. While Cyrus defended herself saying that she was simply “making goofy faces,” several Asian-American groups didn’t accept her explanation. In fact, Southern California resident Lucie J. Kim filed an class-action lawsuit of about $4 billion on Miley Cyrus.
Joe better hope their upcoming album sells a ton; he might need the cash for legal fees.
