Although many social workers have said that it is perfectly normal for an abused person to go back to the abuser, the media, her fans and other people who are aware about the Rihanna-Chris Brown issue found it stupid of Rihanna to go back to Brown, who has allegedly beat her up.

However, there might just be a reason for the reunion – rumor has it that Rihanna and Chris Brown has a sex tape hidden somewhere and the R&B star is worried that it may be released to the public.

The Sun and Star Magazine is reporting that their sources claim Chris Brown may have threatened Rihanna to go back to him, else he’ll release the tape. According to the rumors, Rihanna allowed Brown to film the tape, but after their altercation in early Feb, she’s concerned that the tape may be released and her career would be over.

A source told the Star; “Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality, but she’d be mortified if her friends and family found this out. She’s already traumatized and will do anything to make it all go away as quickly as possible. The last thing in the world Rihanna wants is to see herself in the sex videos all over the Internet! She’s an intensely private person.”

If a tape did exist and is somehow leaked, at least people would understand Rihanna for going back to her man. However, both The Sun and Star Magazine are known to make up stuff, so there might just be no sex tape at all.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is due back in court April 6.
