Lindsay Lohan is wanted on a $50,000 warrant over her 2007 DUI arrest, said Beverly Hills police earlier today.
A police read in a statement, “The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Ms. Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter can be resolved in a timely manner.”
Leslie Zelnick, Lohan’s spokeswoman answered her phone Saturday saying, “If this is about Lindsay, I have no idea what’s going on.”
The warrant of arrest is due to Lindsay’s May 2007 arrest for driving under the influence as well as hit and run. After attending rehab back in 2007, she spent 84 minutes in jail for the DUI charge in November 2007.
