Chris Brown is still not being charged anything after allegedly beating up his girlfriend Rihanna and his lawyer Mark Geragos can’t be more than happy.

Prosecutors still don’t have a case against Chris Brown Wednesday night, making experts speculate that a deal may be in the works to spare the R&B singer from felony charges.

When called to make a comment about the case, Mark Geragos only laughed and declined to comment, but said he “might be able to speak this afternoon.” He is popular for saving the ass of Winona Ryder and Michael Jackson from major legal problems.

The 21-year-old Rihanna and 19-year-old Brown has reportedly reconciled over the weekend in Miami. Experts have said that this may complicate things, particularly if Rihanna decides not to testify against Brown.

Chris Brown was due in court today to be arraigned, but LA cops investigating the case had yet to deliver it to the district attorney. Sandi Gibbons, the spokeswoman for the DA said, “We have filed nothing today. It’s still under investigation by the police.”
