Hermoine is dropping Hogwarts for Yale. Emma Watson, who has expressed her interest in pursuing a degree, has been accepted to Yale.

Apparently, the British actress Emma Watson is as much a brainiac as her Harry Potter alter ego. She revealed the much-awaited acceptance into the Ivy League via Twitter, posting “Did I tell you I got accepted to Yale,” under the handle “mwtsnx.”

At the BAFTA in early Feb, Emma was quoted saying, “Obviously I’m looking at universities and reading lots of scripts and meeting with producers and trying to make a good decision about what my next move should be. I might be going to America - I’m looking at schools over there - but obviously I’m waiting to hear, to find out where I’ve been accepted and if I’ve been offered a place. So nothing’s been decided yet.”

She has also visited Harvard and has been accepted from Cambridge University. However, there has been no word from her rep on which institution of higher learning Watson will attend.
