Kristen, Rob and Taylor enjoyed their Japan premiere in Tokyo last night, (Feb 27), even with a not-so-sunny weather. The three were all smiles throughout the event, as they greeted a bunch of their fans who waited eagerly for them under the rain. (TONS OF PHOTOS BELOW)
Before the premiere at the Ebisu Garden Place, the three young actors apparently had an evening out. According to Just Jared, Robert Pattinson met up with Hugh Jackman, producer John Palermo and director Baz Luhrmann at a karaoke bar near their hotel.
Although an encounter with Hugh Jackman seemed more bizarre than the crazy weather in Tokyo, there is a connection behind this meeting - After Robert Pattinson presented at the Oscars, he met Oscars host Hugh, who was in Tokyo to promote ‘Australia’ and Baz (who choreographed the “Musicals Are Back!” number) and John Palermo created the Oscars opening number.
Apparently, everyone took the same flight to Japan and had a chance to hang out. Rob, Hugh, John and Baz sang a few hours before Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner joined in on the karaoke fun. The group left the bar around 3AM.
