Stewart will play the ‘I Love Rock & Roll’ hit-maker in new film “The Runaways”, and the real Joan Jett couldn’t be happier.
Joan Jett is thrilled to hear that Twilight star Kristen Stewart will be portraying her in the upcoming biopic. The 1980s rockstar thinks that Kristen has the “right energy” to play the part.
She adds, “When her hair is cut and with the right make-up, Kristen should make a really good me.”
Kristen and Jett already had the chance to jam together and the 50-year old was impressed with Stewart’s musical skills, saying, “She sounded great and played well. She has the passion for it, which you can’t really be taught.”
The production of the movie “The Runaways” will start filming around Twilight’s Kristen Stewart schedule of filming the sequel “New Moon” this March.
