Tonight, the 36 semifinalists will start showing off what “talent” they have in store and you will have some control over their careers!
If you’re one of the people who was absolutely disappointed about the Idol exec’s decision over which hopefuls they would allow to join the top 36, this is your chance to support the ones you like. If you just can’t stand the over-the-top, narcissistic Tatiana del Toro, you can “try” to vote her off earlier in the show.

Unfortunately, votefortheworst.com is still alive and is keeping a close eye on which not-so-talented Idol contestant they’ll be supporting through Season 8 and it seems Tatiana del Torro will be their next bet.
Last week, Simon Cowell told Tatiana, “Just once, try not to be annoying.” She couldn’t do it.
American Idol is a singing contest, so Simon Cowell says, but it is also a reality show that needs someone that people would hate (remember Bikini girl?) – the main reason why Idol execs choose one or two of the most irritating or most controversial contestants to join the top. Unfortunately for us who still watch American Idol, it would be a pain to watch del Toro sing her way up through top 5, don’t you think?

The good news is that starting tonight, viewers get to vote. The first group, sadly, includes Del Toro. Other contestants to sing tonight include Casey, Stephen, Jackie, Ricky, Anne Marie, Brent, Alexis, Michael, Stevie, Danny, and Anoop.
