He Said: Brown Posts a Message on His Facebook

Chris Brown has broken his silence by making his first unofficial statement after the alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna. He posted on his private Facebook: “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!”

With the message, the disgraced Brown suggests that the 20-year-old Rihanna is partly responsible for the alleged attack, which left the R&B princess with heavy bruising, bite marks and scratches.

Brown also confirmed the split with the Barbadian-born Rihanna by changing his relationship status to “single.” His account is listed under his complete name, Christopher Maurice Brown.

Aside from a statement by Rihanna’s rep that the singer is “well and is thanking her fans for the support,” the singer has kept silent throughout the case, but continued to work with the investigators.

Police to interview Both parties again to Wrap Up Investigations

A music industry said on Wednesday that the police will be re-interviewing both Rihanna and Chris Brown soon and will have the case handed over to an L.A. district attorney next week.

Brown, 19, is free on $50,000 bail after his arrest on one felony count of making criminal threats. The district attorney’s office asked Tuesday for further investigation before it decides whether to pursue the case and possibly add charges.
