The ‘New Moon’ star Robert Pattinson was spotted at the Cecconi’s Italian restaurant in London Friday (Feb 6). Apparently, the teen heartthrob has been relaxing and doing what he loves most – spending some time playing small gig on the local music scene.
Rob attended the Vogue Pre-BAFTA Dinner, which is hosted by British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman and Solo House founder, Nick Jones. The BAFTA, which is the British counterpart of the Academy Awards, will take place tonight (Feb 8 ) at the Royal Opera House tonight.
Along with Rob on the pictures are British actors 23-year-old Tom Sturridge (left) 25-year-old Andrew Garfield (right).
Rob told reporters he is still not comfortable with the Twilight hysteria brought upon his Edward Cullen character. He said, “I wasn’t really prepared at all. It [the movie's fan base] still gets bigger and bigger every single week.” He may just be telling the truth. He did successfully hide from the paparazzi for more than a month.
His reason for staying in London when not at work? “It’s crazy. In L.A., someone spots me almost every single day,” Rob says.
Pattinson will reunite with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the Twilight cast to shoot New Moon by March and probably do some promoting for his indie film “Little Ashes,” which will be released on cinemas March 27.
