Faye Dunnaway had this to say about Hilary Duff and the casting of the remake of her 1967 film “Bonnie and Clyde” , in which Faye Dunnaway played the bad girl. – “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress.”
A few day later, Hilary Duff responded with a hook of her own : “I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary,… but I might be mad if I looked like that now too. It’s not really like taken off of the movie, it’s taken off the true story of Bonnie and Clyde. So the movie was adjusted slightly by how they wanted to do it and this is kind of like the true events of how everything went down.“
Hillary Duff basically called Faye Dunnaway old, ugly and even threw in some disses at the 1967 version of the film, calling it ‘not real’.
