Megan Fox to be the Next Lara Croft?

Rumors has it that the revival of the “Tomb Raider” film franchise is on the works… and several noteworthy changes are to be made – such as dropping Angelina Jolie to play the main character Lara Croft.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, it seems that the Transformers star, Megan Fox is the main choice for the part. According to reports, after the 2001 Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003 Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, the third part of the series will feature Croft’s backstory, which will take her away from her English aristocratic roots. Of course, there will be new villains, love interests and missions to the third installment.

    Okay…so here is the deal: Megan Fox is gorgeous. I don’t care if half of her beauty has been through cosmetics, she just is a very attractive woman. However, I think that Angelina Jolie was the one to bring Lara Croft out and into a major success so she should maintain the role. The issue is that our society is based alot on looks and age and what-not. Angelina is practically legend but Megan’s age and looks, even though she really does look like she could be Angelina’s daughter, will sell.

    It’s an origins story, Lara has to be played by a younger actress so it may as well be mini Angie

    Megan fox sucks!! she cant expect to just come in and look like Jolie and take over! Jolie is the best…she cant be replaced!!
