Kristen Stewart’s new film Adventureland will be released on March, but the Twilight star appeared at Sundance in support of other films.
Kristen Stewart attended The Monarchy Collection Presents: “Big Fan” today, Jan. 18. Her movie, Adventureland, is a comedy written and directed by Superbad’s Greg Mottola. It is about a recent college grad, played by Jesse Eisenberg, who discovers that his amusement park job is a perfect way to prepare him in the real world. Set in 1987, the film is based on the director’s real-life experiences growing up on Long Island.
Adventureland hits theaters March 27, 2009, the same month New Moon will start shooting. Fortunately, unlike Twilight, Kristen Stewart will be filming New Moon with unlimited time. Since Stewart started working on Twilight when she was 17 years old, the production had to compensate because Kirsten was only legally allowed to work for 5 hours a day. When she turned 18 on set, the cast were so happy that they sent her a special cake with a message, “Now you’re on nights!”
