The only daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie proudly shares to PEOPLE mag the first public photographs of her 3-month-old twin girls Finley and Harper.

The 40-year-old singer admitted that it took her 2 years to get pregnant, saying “I really wanted these babies.” Unfortunately, she explained that her blood was too thick, which resulted in blood clots and several miscarriages. “The moment I took blood thinners, I got pregnant,” she added.

Presley is staying in her LA home with guitarist husband Michael Lockwood, and her children from a previous marriage, daughter Riley, 19, and son Benjamin, 16.

Back when she was still pregnant, Presley was picked on by the tabloids after she was accused of having an unhealthy appetite and calling her “fat.” She proudly bared her baby bump on Marie Clare to tell the tabloids to back off. Check out the pictures below…
