The High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has been rumored to audition for the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon.
Hudgens reportedly wanted the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater – Jacob Black’s feisty frienemy – and even auditioned for the role. Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the movies, says that the HSM actress would be “great” as Leah Clearwater.
It would be smart move by Summit if they chose Hudgens for the role, since ‘New Moon’ would quickly win the hearts of High School Musical fans. However, Vanessa Hudgen’s rep denies the so-called tryouts, saying, “I don’t know anything about the audition. As far as I know, it’s just a rumor.”
