Just when the season 8 of American Idol is about to air on January 13, former ‘Idol’ contestant, Sanjaya Malakar will jump in the ‘Idol’ fever as his five-song EP has been scheduled to be released on January 20.
Malakar, who became popular mostly for his weird hairdos, personality and his mediocre voice throughout the season 6 of the FOX hit show American Idol, will not only be releasing new music, but he’s also tying the EP with a memoir.
Sanjaya’s “Dancing To The Music In My Head” EP will include five songs – “Rainy Days”, “A Guy Like Me”, “Tell Me Who I am”, “I Got it for you” and “A Quintessential Lullaby”, which will be available on Amazon. On the other hand, his memoir entitled “Dancing To The Music In My Head: Memoirs Of the People’s Idol” details his pre-fame days before he reached the top 10 of Idol, his experiences on the reality competition and his life after “Idol.” The book is also due on January 20, from Pocket Books.
