Paris Hilton attended the Summerfieldayze dance music festival on the Gold Coast with one reason – to meet up with her favorite DJ, Steve Akoi, at the backstage.

With 30,000 people attending the festival, it’s not shocking to learn that the heiress partied at the VIP area. Even there, over a hundred people gathered just to see the renowned Hollywood party girl.

When interviewed, Paris told the press, “I can’t wait to see Steve and I’m just here to have fun. I’ve had such a good time here, I went to the children’s hospital yesterday and today I went to the zoo (Currumbin Sanctuary) and played with the koalas. They were so cute and really sweet. I wish I could stay longer but I have to go back to LA for work.”

Although she wasn’t able to see DJ Steve Akoi do his thing since Paris arrived around 6pm, while DJ Akoi performed around 2pm, he did meet up with Paris afterward.

Paris also said that she’s having a great time on the Gold Coast and was quoted saying, “It’s nice to see everyone and I love my fans,” after a group of people still waited for her to leave the festival.

The heiress also said that she was due to go back to L.A. in a couple of days. Paris said, “I’m having so much fun here, it’s so relaxing and has a great vibe. I got to bring my sister and her boyfriend and it’s great being able to show them around. I’d love to learn to surf but only if I find a beach with no paparazzi.” Good luck with that!
