Jay Mohr surprised everyone when he decided to add his wife’s name to his surname.

Following the footsteps of John Ono Lennon, who adapted his wife Yoko Ono’s surname, Jay Mohr also filed a petition last week to legally add “Cox” (his wife Nikki Cox’s surname) to his own, making his full name Jon Ferguson Cox Mohr.

The Las Vegas actress Nikki Cox and Jay Mohr tied the knot on December 29, 2006 and this gesture was Mohr’s gift for their two-year anniversary. Kinda sweet and unique, don’t you think?
