Britney Spears did it. She has officially made a comeback by having the number 1 album this week.
Spears’ new album “Circus” has sold over half a million copies, making it at the top of the charts during its first week.
According to Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, “I think she is America’s pop princess, and the world’s pop princess, and this just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it. Professionally, she’s feeling great. It’s great for her to hear that she’s got a No. 1 album again.”
Yes, it did reconfirm that Britney Spears, who suffered through a lot of emotional and personal problems from 2007 to mid-2008, has regained the fans she lost. In fact, her fans are now fighting her fight with words such as “suck on that, haters!” on the official website of Britney Spears.
Unlike Britney’s album “Blackout”, which was released last year, made it to the Number 1 spot easily, but its sales was affected when Britney’s personal life went down the drain. But with the looks of it and with Britney’s dad Jamie Spears in charge of her career and well-being, the sales of Circus is unlikely to plummet anytime soon.
