According to several magazine reports, the 16-year-old Disney star Miley Cyrus is reportedly planning to become legally emancipated from her dad Billy Ray Cyrus and mom Tish.

Apparently, the singer-actress wants freedom to do what she wants and when she wants with her 20-year-old boyfriend Justin Gaston, the model which Cyrus refers to “just a friend”. In addition to total freedom, Miley Cyrus also wants complete control over her multi-million bank account.

While Billy Ray has been supportive of his daughter’s relationship with Gaston, he still has his reservations. Star magazine reports that a source close to Billy Ray says, “He thinks Justin is a bit of a mooch and doesn’t want him taking advantage of Miley.”

The decision to seek legal emancipation started when Billy Ray told Miley to end the relationship, which resulted in Miley getting her lawyers on the phone.
