Brooke Burke Becomes a Dancing Queen

After ten weeks of intense dancing competition, the gorgeous Brooke Burke and dancing partner Derek Hough has been voted as season seven’s Dancing champs.

When co-host Tom Bergeron announced the duo’s names, they raised their hands in triumph and hugged each other. When Burke was asked how it felt to win, she simply said, “Unbelievable!”

Burke and Hough headed into Tuesday night’s show with a 58 out of 60 for their samba and perfect freestyle. They received another perfect score for their third and final dance, the Viennese waltz, keeping them on top of the leader board with a total of 88 out of 90. They also won the viewers’ votes, which accounted for 50% of their total score.

In the two-hour finale, no one really knew who would win. Many people thought NFL star Warren Sapp and dancing partner Kym Johnson would take home the trophy, but I guess it wasn’t destined to be. Burke was praised by the judges throughout the season for her grace and technical precision on the dance floor. The duo won the season when they performed a freestyle dance Monday and wowed the judges and everyone else watching.

Mariah Carey tells Ellen she’s not Pregnant

Mariah Carey visited Ellen Wednesday and tried to catch Mariah Carey’s reaction when asked if she was pregnant. Carey, who recently married Nick Cannon, replied “No way”, insisting to Ellen that no pregnancy is planned yet. As expected, Ellen was determined to put Carey to the test and brought out glasses and champagne.

“Let’s just toast with Champagne,” the sly Ellen suggested, reaching for a bottle and some flutes. Carey answered, “It’s just fattening. This is peer pressure!”

When Ellen persisted, Carey and her clinked glasses, but the singer only pretended to drink the wine. Ellen immediately caught Carey and declared, “You’re pregnant!” Mariah Carey denied and tells Ellen that they’ll be telling her when Cannon and her are going to have a family.

When asked why she didn’t drink the champagne, Carey replied, “It’s too early for me. I only drink after 3 p.m.”

Aguilera seeks Nicole Richie’s Parenting Advice

Yep, you heard read that right! Christina Aguilera is turning to Nicole Richie for parenting advice.

Christina Aguilera admitted that she didn’t know Nicole Richie all that much in the past, but the two young stars has recently become friendly. At the post-AMA party Sunday, Aguilera tells Pop Tarts, “I didn’t know much about Nicole, but because our little ones are born one day apart and through mutual friends I’ve had the opportunity of getting to know her and I was blown away with how great of a mom she is. I actually ask her for advice because she has a lot of great things that she does for her little one. She’s even a little more stricter with battery operated toys and what not, she’s a great woman.”

Not only does Aguilera thinks highly of Richie, she was also quick on defending Richie’s scandalous past, saying, “She doesn’t go out so much, maybe she goes to dinners. I really appreciate people that exude a lot of talent and hard work in what they do and having a child has made her grow so much as it has made me grow. It just is inevitable that you’re going to grow when you have a little one, so anyone who’s giving anybody grief for going out and partying, they’re just trying to be negative and stir up drama and I have nothing but good things to say about Nicole. I have to say that.”

What’s Next for the Newest Hollywood Heartthrob Robert Pattinson?

Robert Pattinson has been a star for all die-hard Harry Potter fans for years, but outside the world of Hogwarts, Pattinson wasn’t too popular… until the movie “Twilight”. Although Robert Pattinson is set to lead on the movie, ‘New Moon’, a second film from the writer of ‘Twilight’, it won’t be a year or two until you’ll see Pattinson with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. If you’re wondering which film to watch next where Pattinson would be in, here are some of his projects:

1) Little Ashes – Pattinson says he did this film before Twilight. It is about the early days of surrealist painter Salvador Dali. While it is a small film, it won’t be surprising if ‘Little Ashes’ makes it to the box office with flying colors. Pattinson explained, “It’s a tiny, tiny movie, and I don’t know what would have happened [to it] if ‘Twilight’ hadn’t happened.” He also suggested to anyone planning to watch the movie to read about Dali, claiming “It’s a very complicated script, and before anyone would see it, I recommend that you read a biography of Dalí. Otherwise, you wouldn’t get too much out of it.” Little Ashes will be on cinemas early next year.

2) How to Be – Another small film where Pattinson would be in is “How to Be”, where he stars alongside Rebecca Pidgeon. In this film, Pattinson plays an introspective young man trying to make himself better by hiring a personal life coach. “How to Be” will also be released early next year.

3) Parts Per Billion – Pattinson will be working on a drama film alongside Rosario Dawson, Dennis Hopper and Olivia Thirlby. Filming will start by January next year.

Beyond these three films, Pattinson can surely guarantee a wide female fan base for his next films… and if he can prove his talent in drama and other genres, he has a good chance of becoming one of Hollywood’s next biggest stars.

Britney Reveals Kevin Federline Left Her, Not the Other Way Around

Despite evidence of divorce paperwork and reports before, Britney Spears tells Rolling Stone magazine that Kevin Federline ended their marriage and not the other way around.

In preparation for Britney’s new album, the 26-year-old singer is spilling the beans and nothing seems off-limits for Spears.

For the first time since she filed for divorce in 2006, Britney says it was Kevin who ended their marriage. In the Rolling Stone magazine, Britney says, “I didn’t think my husband was gonna leave me. I think I married for all the wrong reasons. Instead of following my heart and, like, doing something that made me really happy … I just did it because … for just, like, the idea of everything.”

Britney says “things got weird” when Kevin started working on his own projects, such as his badly criticized rap album.

Looks like Britney Spears is headed for a good start this 2009. By the start of December 08, she’ll be releasing her album, “Circus” and with how she’s doing right now, it might be just a huge comeback for her. Thanks to her father and his army of people looking after Britney, you can say there won’t be shocking Britney news this time.

The Reason Behind the Name “Mowgli” Wentz

Bronx Mowgli Mentz isn’t your typical baby name, but Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz decided to use this name for their first son due to necessity.

On Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Wentz revealed, “The Jungle Book was something that me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s a cool name.”

Although Wentz revealed the meaning of their son’s second name, he refused to open up about their week-month-old son’s first name, Bronx. “We came up with the idea Bronx. We’ve been throwing [ideas] back and forth a while. It’s kind of cool to just leave the narrative what it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever. And you’re like, you know what: I don’t think anyone really has the real story.”

Pete also reveals how Ashlee handled the birth better than he did, saying, “Right before she went into labor, I was like, ‘Oh, my god, I think I’m having a heart attack. My heart started beating real fast. You see your wife is in all this pain. And I don’t know what’s happening right now. She took care of me and made sure I was okay and then went into labor. That’s why she’s a saint.”

Guess What’s Miley Cyrus’ 16th Birthday Gift from Dad?

Miley Cyrus celebrated her 16th birthday at the Nokia Theater for the 2008 American Music Awards. Apparently, being a performer at the AMA isn’t the only huge gift for Cyrus. When the Disney star celebrated her birthday with friends and family, her dad Billy Ray Cyrus gave Miley her own recording studio.

After reports that Miley Cyrus wanted a Mercedes for her birthday, Billy Ray explains, “She didn’t want a Mercedes, she wanted a recording studio. She just wanted a place to record there at the house. She’s been writing a lot of songs, a lot of really great material. It’s a great place for us to get up there and work out some tunes and sing.”

However, when asked about the studio, Miley isn’t too excited about sharing the studio with her dad, telling Access Hollywood, “No one’s touching it but me. They’ll ruin it. It’s gonna be dope! I’m so stoked!”

Kelly Osborne Engaged!

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the amazing Ozzy, is engaged to 19-year-old model, Luke Worrall. The model revealed on his Facebook page about the news, changing his status to “Engaged to Kelly Osbourne” after dating the reality star for about six months.

In January, Kelly has told Grazia magazine, “I think you have to know someone a long time before you give them the privilege of calling them your boyfriend.” After a month, Kelly also tells Fabulous Magazine that she doesn’t trust boys, revealing, “I’ve fallen head over heels twice and got hurt. Now I’m so guarded that when it gets to that point, I jump ship. I’m frightened I’ll get hurt again.”

Apparently, her views about love have now changed and reports have been telling that the couple decided to have a short engagement and will marry within the next few months. Check out more pictures of the young couple below…

Amy Winehouse Hospitalized Due to Seizure

Amy Winehouse was yet again rushed to the hospital after suffering from a seizure, which occurred just minutes after a fight with her soon-to-be-ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

‘The Sun’ reports that the singer went on a drug and drinking binge after a huge fight with husband Civil and had totally lost it since it has been reported that Winehouse had left the just-released-from-prison Blake Civil. Winehouse had said that their relationship was over on Monday.

A source close to Winehouse told The Sun, “It didn’t stop until she was on the floor on Sunday. She has ended up in hospital a few times after similar drink and drugs related seizures. If she carries on, one of these incidents will be her last.”

However, Winehouse’s rep confirmed that his client was in the hospital, but was there due to an adverse reaction to a new set of medications she has been prescribed. A friend of Winehouse says, “Amy is on a drug replacement program and has had bad reactions to her medication before. Doctors want to sort out why this is happening.”

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Ties the Knot

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, the two stars of MTV’s show, “The Hills” were married in a secret ceremony last week. Although many people may not be surprised that this couple has married, making the wedding a secret can be quite unexpected as this couple has been known for having ‘photo-shoot quality’ paparazzi pictures almost every day.

Montag admitted that after they said their vows, she couldn’t stop crying, while Pratt called Heidi “the light of his life”.

Although Heidi Montag eloped and didn’t invite her family in the wedding, the US magazine crew apparently were there to feature the wedding. The details of the ceremony at the Palmilla Resort in Mexico will be on newsstands tomorrow. Just like any parent would react, Darlene Montag and Bill Montag (who are separated), were both upset that they weren’t invited to the wedding.

Pratt and Montag has had a made-for-the-tabloids relationship, posing for different magazines and being seen in public places while posing as though they’re gonna be on the cover of a famous mag. Check out their cheesy pictures below. You’ll be amazed how well-posed these two can be every time and how they seem to match their clothes’ colors most of the time. It’s hilarious.
