The 27-year-old R&B star Beyonce is eyeing a role to become a superhero, particularly the Wonder Woman.
In an interview with L.A. Times, Beyonce says, “”What would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”
The singer-actress has already met with DC Comics and Warner representatives to discuss the details of a Wonder Woman film. She become more interested in the role when she visited New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the iconic costume of Lynda Carter is displayed.
“I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume. But I love Wonder Woman and it’d be a dream come true to be that character. It sure would be handy to have that lasso,” says Beyonce.
I’m pretty sure Beyonce would look good in a white and blue bathing suit, (just look at her pictures in bathing suits below) but I’m not really sure how she’d pull the role off.
