If news about Robert Pattinson wasn’t enough, Rolling Stone honors the Twilight star by including him on the list of the magazine’s “Hot Actor of the Year”. Photographed by Theo Wenner, Pattinson lies on the floor wearing a white shirt and puffing a cigarette (see picture above).
Pattinson shared to Rolling Stone that “Twilight is a metaphor for the virtues of chastity, but it’s had the opposite effect” as he revealed how some fans react after seeing the vampire film.
“I get letters that say, ‘I’m going to kill myself if you don’t watch High School Musical 2 with me. A mother recently gave me her baby and asked, ‘Can you please bite his head?’” Pattinson added.

Britney flew to Germany yesterday to perform at the 2008 Bambi Awards. This is Britney’s first big act for her upcoming tour to promote her new album “Circus”, which is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, December 2, exactly on the pop star’s birthday.
Dressed in a top hat, fishnets and a figure-hugging black outfit, Britney performed “Womanizer” at the awards show where she was honored as Best International Pop Star, by the German media. Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld presented the pop princess with the statue, which resembles a shining gold deer, but it was the pop star’s performance that attracted the most attention.
It’s going to be a big week for Britney as her MTV documentary will be aired this Sunday, which reveals “her side of the story” of everything she’s been through these past years and prepares her fans on what to expect for her comeback.

Everyone knows Thanksgiving is the busiest shopping day of the year and the Jonas Brothers have taken advantage of this fact – the three appeared in “Good Morning America” promoting their new book, “Burning Up: On Tour with the Jonas Brothers”.
The brothers – Kevin, Nick and Joe were spotted leaving their New York City hotel and arriving at the CBS Studios for their GMA appearance. These boys are keeping busy – just yesterday, they were at the Dallas Cowboys/Seattle Seahawks entertaining a crowd of over 60,000 during halftime to the songs “Burnin’ Up” and “Lovebug”.

Unlike other American Idol winners, David Cook has made a huge deal with American Idol as he stars in a promotional TV spot for the 2009 season of the hit show. The rocker Idol has already filmed the first American Idol TV promo that showcased a former winner of the show – a first-time marketing strategy for American Idol.
Fox marketing chief Joe Earley told TV week that the ad starts with Cook about to go on-stage to perform his newest single “Light On”, followed by images of his post-Idol life dealing with paparazzi, Hollywood parties and limo-riding. The singer will then be seen lying on a bed as he recalls his experiences throughout the American Idol competition with a clip from his wins. The footage ends when Abdul asks him “”Are you the next ‘American Idol’?” and he steps on stage to start singing.
This TV promo will start to air this Thanksgiving weekend to promote the eight season of Idol, which is set to start on January 13. According to Earley, this is the first time American Idol has featured the champion from the last season and added that it will continue in the years to come, explaining, “We’re looking at doing some spots with some other past ‘Idol’ contestants.”

Pete Wentz is a proud dad for son Bronx Mowgli Wentz who was born November 20. He revealed that once he was born, both he and Ashlee Simpson said, “’He’s beautiful. He’s perfect.” With an estimate of $2 million dollars for the first baby pictures of Mowgli, he’ll definitely be the most perfect baby this November 2008… that is, until Jolie adopts or give births to another Jolie-Pitt.
Although Pete and Ashlee hasn’t decided whether they’ll be selling the pictures exclusively… or not, the U.S. publicist Howard Bragman estimated that Mowgli’s pictures will be worth around the low seven figures mark, explaining, “Two million seems like a good, solid figure for Ashlee and Pete. It’s a two-celeb couple, so that’s a boost for them. Keep in mind, last year, Ashlee was the girl who sang along to the tape recorder. It was a PR nightmare. Now, she’s a newlywed and a new mom, so she’s a lot more relatable.”
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz (although working immediately after his son’s birth) has not yet commented on the report.

Star couple of MTV’s ‘The Hills’ may just be the happiest recently-married couple you could find, but legally, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are not considered married in both Mexico and the US. Pretty interesting, don’t you think?
The lovebirds did not invite their parents to the wedding, but brought along a crew of photographers from MTV and US Weekly at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The made-for-TV elopement ended with an impromptu ceremony at the One & Only Palmilla Resort on November. However, since the couple supposedly “failed” to obtain a marriage license before the ceremony, Mexico will not recognize their marriage.
When asked about their current situation, Spencer Pratt answered, “Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”
It sounds easy, but it’s not “that” easy. Los Angeles County also does not acknowledge any marriage ceremonies taken place outside United States without the other country’s government acknowledging that the wedding is legal. An L.A. records supervisor even said, “It won’t be legally recognized here. They would need to go to court for that.”
The only solution now to the couple’s problem is to get married yet again once they come back home to the U.S., which means extra photo shoots, extra pay checks for pictures, extra publicity and more episodes for their reality show “The Hills”. A few days ago, Alex Rodriguez was seen watching Madonna’s concert at the Dolphin Stadium and reportedly was serenaded by the 50-year-old singer at her own concert. Since then, reports of A-rod spending thanksgiving with the pop star instead of his kids and soon-to-be ex-wife have been swirling all around blogs and other networks. While some insisted that the Yankee star won’t be spending the holidays with Madonna, others are pretty sure he’ll go straight to her Kabbalah arms.
Funny thing is, A-rod did both – he visited his family for Thanksgiving dinner and then rushed to be with his “friend” Madonna at her house nearby. After his brunch with Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary, A-rod went directly to his wife Cynthia’s house where he did a little quality time with daughters Ella (7 months) and Natasha (4). At around 4 pm, A-rod reportedly sped off to Madonna’s Star Island home.
Some sources say that the Rodriguez is staying there while he’s in town and has parked his car there overnight. Looks like A-rod can’t get enough of the material girl… what do you think? Check out the pictures of Madonna and A-rod this week…

The week won’t be complete without Cyrus news. This 16-year-old is really working hard and you’ll see her everywhere. In fact, Miley Cyrus is set to go to the big apple for the holidays.
The Disney star is scheduled to join NBC’s 11th annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on December 3, Wednesday with other guests like the Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Stephen Colbert, Tony Bennett and the famous “Kermit the Frog”. The hosts for this year’s even will be Jane Krakowski and Al Roker.
The NBC show will end Cyrus’ big year, just after releasing her album “Breakout” and turning 16 at the American Music Awards.
Although Cyrus didn’t get a Mercedes for her birthday, her dad Billy Ray made her a recording studio at home. When Access Hollywood asked about not getting her own car, the sweet-sixteen star simply said, “I don’t even have my license or anything so it’d be kind of like dumb to get one and just let it sit. I’d like to wait until I’m more ready for the road.”

With all the spotlight on lead Twilight star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart didn’t think paparazzi were going to follow her everywhere she goes. With teenage fans that helped the movie ‘Twilight’ make it to the top of the charts, it really can’t help Stewart’s career being photographed smoking pot.
The 18-year-old Kristen was spotted on her front porch in L.A. earlier this week, relaxing while smoking out of a glass piece with her boyfriend. Considering how quickly she’s rising to stardom, although Stewart has already done a dozen films before ‘Twilight’, everyone’s thinking that Kristen would be a bit careful of such actions.
While many fans think Kristen is “the type” who would smoke weed and couldn’t care less if she was indeed smoking pot, mothers who gave money to the kids to watch ‘Twilight’ may not approve of such pictures. Lynne Spears talks about Britney Spear as a mom. When asked how Lynne felt when she watched her famous daughter shave her head, forcefully admitted into hospitals and rehabs, face divorce and custody cases, but now is crawling back from the dark days, Lynne says the 27-year-old singer was able to make a comeback “With a lot of love and care and help”.
Spears spoke to the U.K. GMTV via satellite from New Orleans as she spoke about her daughter, who is about to release her album “Circus” on her 27th birthday on December 2, saying, “Sometimes you have to just settle down. You have to stop, think. And there’s a lot of people that care about Britney and love Britney – and Britney’s doing great now.”
Although Britney still has to regain custody of her two sons, Lynne Spears just can’t stop praising her daughter for her parenting skills, revealing, “Oh she’s a wonderful mother – she’s funny, she’s extremely affectionate. “[At] home, where there’s nobody around, she’s very normal.”
Lynne Spears is busy promoting her memoir “Through the Storm”, while Britney is promoting her album and is about to take on a world tour next year.
“I think Britney’s just ready to get started again. I think this is when she’s most in her element,” added Lynne.
