Guilty pleasure for many, Britney Spears is coming out with her latest album December 2^nd, 2008. Just goes to show that nothing can keep Britney down! She is making her way back from custody battles, getting ugly, getting hot and the sex tape scandal that seemed to die down.

So, who can we credit with Britney’s success after all of the drama? For one, the fans – without us, who have caused her latest single, Womanizer to reach number one!

Traci Lords at 40 Still Excited about Porno

Well, not the type of porno you guys think. Traci Lords, who is now 40 years old, was popular for her appearances in the early 80s as she posed for Penthouse magazine and starred in numerous XXX films before authorities discovered in 1986 that she was only 15 years old.

Last year, Traci gave birth to a son named Joseph Gunnar and was asked to star on Kevin Smith’s comedy film,’Zack and Miri Make a Porno’. But during several interviews, Traci confessed that she was shocked about the title of the movie when Smith told it over the phone and was prepared to say no to the film. However, since she was a fan of Kevin Smith and eventually read the script, she immediately liked her character Bubbles.

Traci tells Canmag.com, “It was really great that in taking the movie, because I didn’t plan on going back to work right away, but I was dying to work with Kevin. I never thought it would be on something called Zack and Miri Make a Porno. What? So I went and I read the script at his house and I was prepared to say no. I thought I have the perfect out. I just had a kid. No one is going to blame me if I say I just can’t do this right now. But it made me laugh out loud and it made me just literally cry. It was just funny.”

If you’re a Kevin Smith fan, you’ll love how Seth Rogens and Elizabeth Banks have made smut into something sweet. Plus with the appearance of Traci Lords after her small role in the 2006 film, Crazy Eights, who wouldn’t want to see this movie?

Zach and Miri Make a Porno opens to theaters on October 31. This film would be a great choice for a weekend out.

Amy Winehouse Released from the Hospital

Amy Winehouse, who has had plenty of publicity due to her drug-using ways, scary pictures, caught-in-the-act video of smoking crack and health problems, was hospitalized several times this year. In August, she was hospitalized due to emphysema from smoking crack; In September, she had a bad reaction to medication and last week, she had a chest infection. She’s back home from a London hospital, and is supposedly “doing fine”.

Meanwhile, a British couple (Johnny Blagrove and Cara Burton) who has been supplying drugs to the Grammy-winning singer and other celebrities has pleaded guilty Friday, confessing to supplying Winehouse with ecstacy and cocaine. These two dealers are also responsible for selling the notorious video of Winehouse smoking crack to the UK tabloid, “The Sun”, which the newspaper published in January.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Blagrove and Burton on November 28.

Winehouse’s rep Tracey Miller told E! News that the singer is now home stating, “All has been completed and she is fine.”

The poor thing only quit her drug habit when her body was clearly too weak for more abuse (See pictures of Winehouse’s dark days below). Winehouse’s Fans are afraid the singer will lose all her teeth, but that’s not all Amy Winehouse should worry about. If her emphysema returns, she may never sing again. So much talent will just be put to waste.

Madonna and A-Rod’s Secret “Meeting”

The New York Post reported that both Madge and A-rod took off in separate private helicopters last week for a top-secret rendezvous at Jerry Seinfeld’s 12-acre estate.

A-Rod, who just faced a public divorce, flew by chopper to East Hampton, where a Porsche 911 picked him up. The car matched Jessica Seinfeld’s white Porsche. Within the same hour, a helicopter landed at the Chelsea Piers where Madonna landed and was fetched by Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche. A witness told the Post that Jerry and Madonna headed back to Seinfeld’s place.

As it turns out, the Seinfelds have been a close friend of Madonna’s for years since they were neighbors on the West Side. However, the reason why Jessica and Jerry fetched Madonna and A-Rod separately remains unclear. To keep the paparazzi guessing, i assume? Or to make their lives ala-James-Bond-film and keep their meeting a bit exciting? I guess we will never know.

There are no details about what A-Rod and Madge did during their 4-hour visit to the Seinfeld’s, but a dark SUV left the house and took all of them back to the airport. Jerry, Jessica and Madonna all piled into the copter that had taken Madonna there a few hours back, but A-Rod left on his own copter alone.

Well, this news is not all that shocking, but the way Madonna and Alex Rodiguez hooked up at the Hamptons for only four hours is just like a scene from an spy action-filled film. You think these two celebrities would keep their meetings low-profile, but then again, all this sneaking up just makes the spotlight turn to them more.

Britney Spears’ Dad to Handle All Her Finances Indefinitely

Britney Spears hasn’t had her head shaved or caused major headlines lately, making her seem to have undergone outstanding recovery in the public eye, but it seems that she still needs all the help she can get… and permanent conservatorship is necessary.

On Tuesday afternoon, lawyers of the 26-year-old pop princess asked that the temporary co-conservatorship, which was supposed to end by December 31, be made permanent. L.A. superior court commissioner Riva Goetz approved the request, giving Britney’s dad Jamie long-term control over her estate, assets, business and other financial affairs. Along with this court-ordered decision, a team of medical experts will also monitor Britney’s mental health as closely as possible. The order will remain active until the pop star has shown complete and stable recovery.

TMZ.com reported that Spears’ legal team felt that a permanent conservatorship could help Britney visit her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James more often and possibly increase her chances of re-gaining custody.

If all things went as Britney’s lawyers have planned, the permanent conservatorship can make the family commissioner feel at ease giving Spears another chance to get her sons back, knowing that Britney is being cared for appropriately. However, other legal experts have said that since Britney’s lawyers admitted that Spears was unfit to look after herself, she may lose her chances of getting full custody of her boys, who currently live with their father, Kevin Federline.

As though she had none of her own court-related problems to think about, Britney had also been requested by former manager Johnnie White to testify in a Florida court. In late 2007, White sued Britney over unpaid royalties. Although attorneys for Spears declined to comment on the singer’s current condition, they were quick to act in filing an emergency motion for a protective order, successfully stopping Spears from being forced to testify in Florida.

After her public meltdown in 2007, Britney is keeping herself busy as she fights to be back at top spot. Can she make it through all the obstables she’s facing? We’ll see…

Paris Hilton Demoted

Looks like Average Joe isnt the only one taking a pay cut through these hard economic times. Apparently, Paris Hilton, who used to earn an average of $115,000.00 for showing up at an opening or nightclub premier has been downgraded to a mere $40,000.00 - Could it be the economy? Or, could it be that people are coming to their senses about what a true waste of money that is hiring this ever-tardy heiress to make an appearance?

Although $40,000.00 is nothing to sniff at, this is nowhere what Paris is used to being paid. Sources say that she feels she warrants more than this meager payday.

Life is truly hard for this heiress, who is forced to truly work for this money with strict requirements that entails her actually being at the event for two hours. Since when is $20,000.00/hour a bag wage? I guess if you area hilton born with a platinum spoon in your mouth, it truly is?

Does this mean that we can predict more celebutante TV shows in the future? Only time will tell.
